We are looking for an experienced Network Planning Analyst to join our Network Planning and Strategy team. This role would be responsible for analyzing current and future demand, evaluating capacity and skill coverage, identifying gaps, and translating business needs into actionable staffing requirements. We are looking for someone who has experience develop recurring and ad hoc reporting, conduct scenario analysis, and present findings and recommendations to business leaders and wants to bring their talents into a “for purpose” space. This is a remote position based on Eastern Time, M-F 9a-6p. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC but qualified candidates do not need to reside in New York.

What You’ll Do

Forecasting & Planning
  • Develop forecasts for new and existing volume, incorporating historical performance, business inputs, growth expectations, and emerging trends.
  • Identify and communicate trends that may impact future demand, capacity, or resource needs.
  • Generate staffing and capacity requirements by line of business, market, skill set, or other relevant business segment.
  • Compare forecasted and actual results to identify variances and continuously improve planning assumptions.
Capacity & Scenario Analysis
  • Conduct capacity-to-volume and gap analyses to identify areas of excess capacity, constraints, and emerging needs.
  • Complete ad hoc capacity and skill-set reviews based on changing business needs and leadership requests.
  • Develop what-if scenarios to evaluate changes in volume, staffing, productivity, skill mix, or other business assumptions.
  • Identify areas where additional capacity or targeted skill growth may be needed and provide data-driven recommendations.
Reporting & Real-Time Analytics
  • Generate and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports using Looker and Google Sheets.
  • Build analytical models and reporting tools that improve visibility into volume, capacity, staffing requirements, and operational performance.
  • Monitor real-time queue performance, identify emerging service or capacity risks, and recommend or coordinate remediation actions to restore performance.
  • Investigate performance trends and variances to identify underlying drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, data visibility, and analytical tools.
Business Insights & Communication
  • Translate complex analysis into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for business leaders.
  • Partner with Operations and cross-functional stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

About You 

  • 3-5 years of experience in capacity planning, workforce planning, business analytics, operations analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data manipulation, and analytical modeling.
  • Demonstrated experience with forecasting, capacity planning, staffing requirements, or demand analysis.
  • Experience conducting gap analysis and developing scenarios or what-if models.
  • Strong experience generating operational reports and translating data into actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently investigate trends and business questions.
  • Experience creating presentations and communicating analytical findings to business and leadership audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage both recurring deliverables and ad hoc analytical requests in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with Looker, including working with Explores, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting multiple lines of business, markets, regions, or specialized skill sets.
  • Experience with Tableau, Power BI, Mode, or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience developing scalable or automated reporting solutions.
  • Experience creating presentations and communicating analytical findings to business and leadership audiences

Compensation

At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.

The base salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $105,000. Within the salary bands, leveling corresponds to each candidate’s relevant experience, skills as assessed during the interview process, education, and applicable certifications.
