- Manage people, priorities, and processes across North America to ensure the timely delivery of online statutory and code updates in line with agreed schedules and quality standards
- Coordinate the acquisition, processing and publication of legislative content, following established editorial workflows, tooling and quality checks
- Ensure work is allocated effectively across teams to maintain throughput, accuracy and coverage commitments
- Escalate risks, delays or quality issues where needed, proposing practical mitigations
- Provide day-to-day line management for editors and analysts, including workload planning, coaching and regular feedback
- Offer guidance and practical support to help team members resolve issues, improve confidence and work consistently
- Encourage a positive, collaborative team culture with a focus on reliability, shared ownership and continuous improvement
- Support performance management processes by coaching, providing feedback and performance review, and working with individuals to ensure goals are understood and delivered
- Monitor team and individual performance measures such as timeliness, volume and error rates, taking action where standards are at risk
- Ensuring customer feedback is triaged, prioritised and resolved within agreed SLAs
- Identify process improvements within existing frameworks and support the adoption of new tools, automation and practices
- Proactively work with the team to identify, develop, and implement AI-driven operational efficiencies
- Ensure team members understand and comply with editorial policies, documentation standards and governance requirements
- Contribute to audits, reviews and remediation activity as required
- Work closely with peers, Product, Technology and other GEO editorial teams globally to ensure clear handover of work and shared understanding of requirements
- Support the implementation of changes to workflows, templates or systems agreed at a senior level
- Act as a reliable operational point of contact for assigned content areas, feeding back practical insights on delivery challenges and opportunities
- Work closely with other Editorial Managers, North America Legislation, located in the US, Canada and South Africa, to develop cross-functional initiatives, training, and collaboration
- Experience in legal editorial work, legal publishing or regulatory content operations
- Working knowledge of US and/or Canadian legislation and editorial conventions
- Proven experience managing or mentoring editorial contributors in a delivery‑focused environment
- Comfortable working with established workflows, performance measures and quality controls
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with attention to detail
- Practical, proactive problem-solver with strong evidence of the ability to improve delivery and quality
- Clear and supportive communicator, able to explain expectations and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborative mindset, working effectively with managers, peers and partner teams
- Confidence using editorial systems and approved tools; openness to learning automation and efficiency tools as introduced
- Full-time role within Global Editorial Operations
- Works primarily on North America content, collaborating with UK, SA and APAC colleagues as required
- Can be located in US or Canada, home-based
- Travel, up to 10% of time, required
