We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as an Account Manager! The Energy Efficiency Account Manager promotes energy efficiency concepts, services, and financial incentives available to customers from their local utility. As an Account Manager, you will work to identify cost-effective investments in energy efficiency and ensure partners pursue demand and energy-saving measures/installations. You will primarily focus on assisting large & small commercial partners/contractors, school districts, universities, and local governments.

Successful candidates will reside in Abilene, TX or the surrounding North Texas territory

For this role, you’re a great fit if you can excel in these key areas…

Project Management

  • Based on each partner’s specific needs, support the partners and their project(s) through construction and incentive payments
  • Make demand and/or energy-saving recommendations to impact each project
  • Track and report partner projects promptly
  • Develop program processes and make recommendations for improvement

Outreach & Recruitment

  • Determine partner recruitment target goals and associated strategies to achieve necessary kW/kWh savings
  • Recruit partners by effectively communicating the value proposition of the program (and utility)
  • Recruit and train trade allies/contractors as participants for the small business offering of the programs
  • Recruit and train vendor partners for the point of sale offerings within the programs
  • Have conversations and ask appropriate questions to qualify partners and specific projects for inclusion in the program

Customer Service/Reporting

  • Work effectively with all entities (e.g., facilities staff, business officers, architects, engineers, contractors) involved in projects to optimize energy efficiency
  • Identify and escalate program/partner issues promptly to the appropriate level of management
  • Be prepared for standing weekly and monthly meetings with the internal team and/or utility client(s)

Exciting candidates will have…

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • 3-5 yrs experience in a professional position, preferably in outside sales, consulting, or a similar field
  • Proven ability to communicate a value proposition
  • Proven ability to sell into a multiple-tiered and/or bureaucratic entity

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Compensation Range

$59,500.00 - $89,200.00

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
