Pharmacy1st Health is building the clinical infrastructure for rural America by transforming independent pharmacies into integrated care delivery hubs. Our model combines primary care, pharmacy services, and chronic disease management under one roof, creating a new, lower-cost site of care for underserved communities.

We operate across multiple states and are rapidly expanding a network of rural clinics co-located with pharmacies. Our goal is to deliver scalable, high-quality care while improving access, outcomes, and cost efficiency.

Role Overview

The Associate, Office of the CEO, will work directly with the CEO and Chief of Staff to design, test, and scale initiatives that drive revenue growth and improve the patient experience. This role is built for someone leaving consulting who wants to move from advising to owning outcomes. You will take ambiguous ideas and turn them into real programs that operate in clinics and pharmacies. You will be expected to operate independently, work in the field, and deliver measurable results quickly.

What You Will Own

You will be responsible for piloting high-priority initiatives, including:

  • Immunization programs

  • LTC@Home expansion

  • Delivery services

  • Patient loyalty and retention programs like med sync

  • New clinical and pharmacy-driven revenue streams

You are not supporting these initiatives. You are driving them.

Key Responsibilities

Build and Launch New Initiatives

  • Translate CEO-level ideas into executable plans within days, not weeks

  • Define scope, success metrics, and rollout strategy for each initiative

  • Launch pilots in real clinic environments and iterate quickly

  • Drive initiatives from concept through pilots

Operate in the Field

  • Spend time in clinics and pharmacies to understand real workflows

  • Work directly with frontline staff to pilot new programs

  • Identify operational friction and fix it in real time

  • Ensure initiatives work in practice, not just in theory

Drive Execution

  • Own timelines, milestones, and outcomes across multiple initiatives

  • Coordinate across clinical, operations, and pharmacy teams without formal authority

  • Push through ambiguity and remove blockers independently

  • Hold yourself accountable for results, not just progress

Measure What Matters

  • Define and track key metrics, including:

  • Revenue per initiative

  • Patient utilization and retention

  • Operational efficiency

  • Build simple, practical tracking systems

  • Make clear recommendations: scale, refine, or shut down

Build Repeatable Playbooks

  • Document what works and what doesn’t

  • Create standardized rollout playbooks for successful initiatives

  • Enable rapid replication across new and existing sites

  • Inform strategy for expansion to new sites (i.e., where else should we implement this service)

Qualifications

Required

  • 2–3 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm

  • Strong track record of leading workstreams and delivering results under tight timelines

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and structured thinking

  • Strong customer-facing and communication skills

  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments

  • Willingness to spend time in the field and work hands-on with operations

Preferred

  • Experience working on growth, operations, or customer experience initiatives

  • Interest in healthcare delivery and underserved markets

  • Background from firms such as McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, or Bain & Company
