What is the Role?

As the Office Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that Intersection’s New York office is running smoothly and efficiently. Ideal candidates for this position will be passionate about making workspaces fun, inspiring, safe, collaborative and productive.  This role will be onsite Monday through Thursday (and potentially an occasional Friday if there is a project or an event).

What you will accomplish:

• Serve as a primary coordinator for day-to-day facility operations across Intersection offices in the U.S; tasks include supporting facilities upkeep, space planning logistics, basic procurement needs, reception support, mail services, maintenance tasks, landlord coordination, office upgrades and security processes.
• Cover the desk at all times and ensure that visitors are scheduled and greeted in the NY Office. 
• Order office supplies and snacks for the pantry
• Work directly with vendors for scheduling, service needs and general coordination.
• Enter invoices and payment details into accounting systems, including Coupa.
• Work closely with building management to help keep facilities, furniture, fixtures and equipment in good working order. 
• Assist with routine maintenance, small repairs and office reconfigurations as needed.
• This role is on-site in the NY office at least four days per week.

• Experience coordinating with vendors, gathering quotes and helping with basic contract or service-level details.
• Strong ability to juggle multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Background supporting office space setups, project logistics and procurement activities for various in office activities.
• Comfort assisting with process improvements, tracking requests, identifying recurring issues and suggesting ways to streamline operational workflow.
• Clear and concise communication skills are a must for this role.
• Familiarity with OSHA requirements and basic reporting.
• A practical, flexible and hands-on approach to work.
• Comfort with Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.).

Total Cash Compensation: $40 - 45/hr
