Manage day-to-day office operations and facilities: keep shared spaces stocked and presentation-ready, handle reception and mailroom duties, coordinate vendors, oversee maintenance and repairs, manage conference rooms and A/V, support events, moves, and construction projects, and collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding.
WHO WE ARE
We are PEAK6, a leading investment firm, using technology to find a better way of doing things. The company's first tech-based solution was developed in 1997 to optimize options trading, and over the past two decades, the same formula has been used across a range of industries, asset classes, and business stages to consistently deliver superior results. Today, PEAK6 seeks transformational opportunities to provide capital and strategic support to entrepreneurs and forward-thinking businesses. PEAK6's core brands include PEAK6 Capital Management, PEAK6 Strategic Capital, Apex Fintech Solutions, FOCUS, We Insure, Evil Geniuses, Poker Power, Zogo, and Bruce Markets.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
About This Role
At PEAK6, the Facilities team sets the tone for how the office feels - and the Office Manager is at the center of that. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role for someone who takes genuine pride in their environment, moves quickly, and sweats the details so everyone else doesn't have to.
You'll be the connective tissue between the physical space and the people who work in it. That means owning the day-to-day rhythm of the office - from how the kitchen is stocked to how a VIP guest is greeted - and making sure everything is running smoothly before anyone has to ask.
This role is fully in-office, five days a week in Dallas.
What You'll Do
You'll manage the daily life of the office: keeping shared spaces clean, organized, and well-stocked; overseeing kitchen, coffee, and snack programs; and coordinating food deliveries and catered meals. You'll handle reception duties, manage the visitor system, and own the beginning and end of each day. You'll provide mailroom services and manage a team of people as well.
Beyond the day-to-day, you'll be the point person for facilities issues - reporting problems, coordinating with vendors and building staff, and seeing repairs through to completion. You'll monitor vendor performance, track maintenance issues, and ensure the office stays compliant with building, safety, and company policies.
Conference rooms are a big part of what you'll own: keeping them presentation-ready, managing bookings, and making sure A/V and equipment are always functional. You'll also support event setups, office moves, furniture management, and art installations, and serve as the on-site lead for construction projects and site surveys.
You'll work closely with HR on onboarding and offboarding, and occasionally run errands for the co-founders.
What You Bring
You have at least five years of office management experience (facilities background is a plus) and are comfortable working with Google Workspace. You're physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 30 pounds - this is an active role, not a desk job.
More than anything, you're someone who operates with high integrity, stays composed under pressure, and holds yourself to an exceptionally high standard.
You don't need someone to tell you what needs to be done - you see it and handle it. You communicate well across all levels of an organization and treat the company's resources with the same care you'd give your own.
OUR REWARDS
We offer a robust package of employee perks and benefits, including healthcare benefits (medical, dental and vision, EAP), competitive PTO, 401k match, parental leave, and HSA contribution match. We also provide our employees with a paid subscription to the Calm app and offer generous external learning and tuition reimbursement benefits. As a hybrid workforce, we offer our employees the ability to work remotely up to two days a week.
PEAK6 is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
