Job Summary & Responsibilities
The OHS Assistant is an essential healthcare professional who assists with internal operations under the Occupational Health Services Department (Employee Health). OHS Assistants perform clinical and reception responsibilities to ensure proper patient care for all employees and visiting parties within SBH Health System - St. Barnabas Hospital.
Preferred Qualifications- Education Required - HS Diploma or Equivalence
- License/Certification/Registration(s) Required - Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program and Certification.
- Experience/Skills Required – One (1) years’ experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting or two (2) years’ relevant. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills. Bilingual preferred. Knowledge of Computer Technology preferred. Successful completion of St. Barnabas Hospital orientation
