We're looking for an Operations Manager to optimize operational processes, drive efficiency, and support execution of our strategic goals. This role suits a strong project manager and problem-solver experienced in managing operations in a remote, fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the SVP of Operations and joining a two-person Operations team, you'll lead key initiatives and streamline workflows to help COURIER stay agile and scalable as we grow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations Management & Coordination

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring company-wide policies, SOPs, and workflows are effectively implemented, maintained, and improved.
  • Manage the contract process, including vendor agreements and compliance documentation, in partnership with finance.
  • Maintain and improve internal communication channels for clear, consistent information flow across teams.
  • May manage interns as needed.

Process & Workflow Optimization

  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend scalable process improvements; support departments in building KPI tracking and performance metrics.
  • Implement and optimize workflow automation tools to improve cross-departmental efficiency.

Risk Management & Digital Security

  • Serve as a thought partner on company-level risk management, flagging gaps and helping develop solutions with the SVP of Operations.
  • Partner with the tech team on digital security tools and protocols, including compliance monitoring and initiatives like phishing simulations.
  • Contribute to physical and digital security protocols and incident response processes.

Cross-Team Collaboration & Support

  • Lead and manage Knowledge Core, ensuring teams have centralized, up-to-date resources.
  • Drive company-wide adoption of tools and software..
  • Support cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives with operational expertise.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, independent, and detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a fast-moving remote environment.

Key qualifications include:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in operations, project management, or a related field (experience in media is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interface effectively across teams, from senior leadership and VPs to answering day-to-day questions from employees.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Independent project manager, who can initiate and drive projects while keeping management informed.
  • Adaptability and initiative, with a continuous improvement mindset for optimizing processes.
  • Experience with digital security tools and protocols (e.g., MFA, MDM, VPN) is a plus.
