Nordic Knots was born from a culture of thoughtful design that lasts beyond seasons and trends. We design timeless rugs and curtains in our Stockholm atelier. Each piece is handmade by highly skilled weavers in India and is GoodWeave certified. Our mission is simple: dress the world's most beautiful homes.

Curtains are one of our most exciting growth areas. We are building the category with the same care for quality and craftsmanship that defines our rugs. We are also extending what we offer beyond the product itself, with services that make dressing a window as considered as choosing a rug.

The role

We're looking for an Operations Project Lead to be the right hand of the GM of Curtains. You will turn ambition into structure and action. That means managing and ensuring timely completion of the projects that move it forward, taking ownership of special initiatives that advance the Curtains agenda and building reporting to ensure we are delivering against our goals. Your first major focus will be getting our services pilots, such as in-home measuring and installation, off the ground and running them day to day.

What you'll do

Drive projects and special initiatives

  • Project manage cross-functional initiatives that support curtains growth, from new product and assortment launches to process improvements.

  • Own special projects as priorities change. Examples include market analysis, pricing work, operating model design and new channel exploration.

  • Bring structure to ambiguity by breaking big questions into workable plans.

Launch and scale pilots

  • Turn pilot concepts into operational plans, covering scope, process design, timelines, budgets and success metrics.

  • Set up and manage relationships with external partners and service providers, including sourcing, onboarding and performance tracking.

  • Partner with Customer Experience, E-commerce, Marketing and Logistics so the customer journey works end to end, from booking to completion.

  • Track pilot performance against clear KPIs such as conversion, attach rate, customer satisfaction, cost to serve and margin impact.

  • Recommend whether to scale, adjust or stop each pilot, and back your recommendation with data.

Build the curtains performance picture

  • Design, build and maintain dashboards that give the GM and leadership a clear view of category performance. This includes sales, margin, conversion, returns, inventory and service metrics.

  • Develop the core KPIs for the curtains business and make sure the underlying data is reliable and consistent.

  • Turn data into insight by spotting trends, flagging risks and surfacing opportunities before they're asked for.

  • Prepare business reviews, planning inputs and materials for leadership.

What you'll bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in strategy, operations, business analysis, consulting, or a similar role. Experience in e-commerce, DTC, retail, or home goods is preferred, with experience in custom businesses (custom window treatments or made-to-measure products, etc.) a strong plus.

  • Strong project management skills and a track record of delivering cross-functional projects on time.

  • Experience launching or running a pilot, a new service or an operational process is highly valued. Experience managing external partners is a bonus.

  • Strong analytical and commercial judgement. You can connect the numbers to the decisions that matter.

  • Clear, concise communication in writing, in presentations and with people at every level.

  • A proven ability to build reporting from scratch. You're confident with Excel/Google Sheets and a BI tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

  • A self-starter mindset. You're comfortable with ambiguity, take ownership, and enjoy building in a growing company.

  • An appreciation for design, quality and craftsmanship, and a genuine interest in the home.

Why join us

  • Shape a growing category at a design-led brand, with direct exposure to leadership.

  • Build new services from the ground up and see your work reach customers.

  • Work with a small, ambitious team that cares about timeless design and doing things well.

What we offer

We are a driven team with high ambitions and an entrepreneurial, open-minded culture where new ideas and initiatives are encouraged. At Nordic Knots, everyone plays a meaningful role in contributing to our continued growth. We value diversity and inclusion and welcome applicants who bring different perspectives, experiences and ideas to our team.
