About Call9: Call9 is breaking the mold of traditional Emergency Medicine and telemedicine while reinventing 911. Our patient-centered proprietary telemedicine platform connects off-site emergency physicians with on-site emergency medicine trained Clinical Care Specialists (CCS). Call9 provides a spectrum of emergency care services at the patient’s bedside in skilled nursing facilities.

Position Summary:The Operations Staffing Specialist serves as Call9’s “air traffic control” - responsible for the accurate and complete daily staffing schedule of all remote and facility based clinicians.

Responsibilities:

- Work with Call9 Operations Leadership team to continuously ensure adequate adequate staffing across Call9 service footprint - week to week, month to month, and with special attention focused on holidays

- Continuously identify and evaluate opportunities for strategic evolutions in Call9 staffing processes & procedures

- Help identify, select, implement, and maintain a computerized scheduling systemEnsure that all clinician and CCS shifts are filled, and that Call9 service locations are assigned with appropriate experience and/or skill level

- Monitor daily staffing operations for risks and issues, and develop appropriate mitigation plans: managing call-outs and other urgent staffing issues that may arise

- Review, approve, and disapprove swap and vacation requests

- Work to ensure minimal usage of overtime, and source/approve overtime where necessary and appropriateProvide absentee and tardiness reports on a weekly basis to appropriate department managers

- Complete other duties as assigned

Candidate Profile:

- Process-oriented individual, with the ability to use past experience to implement new staffing processDesire to be a part of a team mission and create growth

- Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skillsMust have strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.

Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with healthcare, business, and engineering professionals

- Works well independently and alongside teamMaintains composure in demanding or stressful settingsWillingness to be flexible, including performing responsibilities not specifically outlined in the job description and assuming new responsibilities as the business needs evolve

Qualifications:

-2-3+ year of full-time scheduling experience -- hospital, clinical practice, or EMS based experience preferred but not required

- Tech savvy, familiar with cloud-based applications, and comfortable with video conferencing.

Experience in a startup environment (not required but a plus!)

- Ability to handle confidential/sensitive matters in a highly professional manner.Education:High School Diploma required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
