As the Trading Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing critical aspects of our trading operations in the US region. You will play a key role in shaping trading strategies, ensuring governance and compliance, and managing the daily operational activities of the trading team. 

Your ability to manage risk, coordinate interdepartmental activities, and foster strong client relationships will be essential to the success of our trading operations in US.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage trading routes for efficiency and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain automation structure and routes.
  • Enforce transaction authorization policies and document optimized trading processes.
  • Oversee tools and external service providers.
  • Implement automation and system integration, and advanced monitoring for OTC and credit activities.
  • Facilitate critical communication and workflow alignment between the US trading desk, global engineering, risk management, and compliance teams.
  • Provide operational tools for efficiency.

Requirements

Must Have

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field (MBA or relevant certifications a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of cryptocurrency exchanges and liquidity venues, OMS/EMS, FIX/REST/WebSocket APIs, and blockchain fundamentals (wallets, custody, fees, confirmations).
  • Excellent understanding of risk management and security protocols in the cryptocurrency industry.
  • Experience building operational dashboards, alerts, and workflows; familiarity with version control (Git) and basic CI/CD is advantageous.
  • Professional proficiency in English.
  • Regulatory/compliance exposure highly desirable (KYC/AML, Travel Rule, market abuse surveillance, licensing regimes).
  • Willingness to cover rotational shifts or on-call as needed for market hours and incident response.

Preferred

  • Strong Python skills (data wrangling, automation, monitoring, and reconciliation tooling).
  • Proficiency with SQL and at least one additional language (e.g., TypeScript/Java).

  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and process-driven; able to improve and document controls and procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, 24/7 market environment; sound judgment under pressure and strong ownership mindset.

The base salary range for this role is between USD 90,000 - USD 120,000 in the State of New York. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.

Recruitment Process

  • Stage 1 - Initial screening with TA (30 mins)
  • Stage 2 - Technical Screen (45 mins) - Meet the VP Trading Ops
  • Stage 3 - Onsite interview - Meet your future teammates (60 mins)
  • Stage 4 - Final interview - Meet the Global Head of Trading Ops (30 mins)
