Justworks is looking for an Insurance Benefits Associate to join our Benefits Billing Operations team. Justworks offers access to a wide range of benefits from Medical, Dental and Vision insurance to 401(k) and various perks. The Insurance Benefits Associate will support the day-to-day success of a number of different Benefit programs at Justworks, while working alongside Analysts and Product, Engineering, and Accounting teams to improve existing systems and help implement new Benefit offerings.
In this role, you will be responsible for the validation and reconciliation of reports from our Medical, Dental, and Vision carriers. You will also have the opportunity to work with our Benefits Administration, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams to provide new and existing customers with an incredible Benefits experience and ensure client information is correct. Additionally, you will help identify trends and areas for improvement, and have the opportunity to implement new procedures.

Your Success ProfileWhat You Will Work On
- Execute day-to-day operations for Medical, Dental, Vision, & COBRA billing as part of Justworks Insurance Benefits Partnership and Product Operations team.
- Resolve member benefit discrepancies discovered within the agreed upon service level agreements (SLAs)
- Assist team members with month-end close processes from a Rolling Discrepancy Report perspective, build internal benefit resources, and implement process improvements to resolve long-term issues that impact workflow.
- Compile and analyze large volumes of data, with sensitive information for reporting, with discretion and integrity.
- Partner with third party vendors to resolve escalated issues - enrollment errors, plan coding issues, and eligibility.
- Maintain accurate process documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure clear and timely communication with leadership and/or appropriate internal stakeholders
- Provide support during the annual audit
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an operations, accounting, billing, or healthcare revenue role required
- Experience in Account Reconciliation and/or Accounts Receivable preferred
- Knowledge of Employer Sponsored Benefit Plans a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely detail-oriented with great time management skills
- Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Proven ability to work well autonomously as well was working well as part of a team
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Strong project management and execution skills a plus
- Excel skills required, SQL skills a plus

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $28.13 - $30.94 per hour.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location. Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
