TITLE: Commercial Operations Manager
LOCATION: NYC/Remote
The Role:
If you love solving hard challenges, streamlining processes, and scaling a business in hyper growth mode, we’re looking for you! Reporting to Canoe’s VP of Operations, the Commercial Operations Manager will focus on building out Canoe’s commercial operations function to support the growth of the business. In this role, you’ll have the unique opportunity to build and refine Canoe’s sales and client operations processes alongside our growing team.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and refine all operational processes necessary to support Canoe’s Sales and Client Success teams, examples include; contract signature, client renewals, commissions, etc.
- Own Canoe’s CRM system to ensure data completeness and accuracy for use in regular reporting
- Oversee Canoe’s responses to prospect and client RFP’s and DDQ’s in a streamlined and timely manner
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure Canoe’s commercial collateral is up-to-date, consistent, and adequately supports existing processes; including prospect and client informational presentations, technical documentation to support the RFP/DDQ process, etc.
- Create excellent regular commercial reporting to provide insight and analysis on Canoe’s Sales and Client Success efforts for internal and external stakeholders; including sales forecasting and performance, renewal/upsell opportunities, etc.
What We’re Looking For:
Required:
- Track record of designing and implementing process improvements for commercial teams
- Strong understanding of B2B customer lifecycle and necessary support processes
- Experience with CRM administration and ownership
- History of creating outstanding reporting for use by internal and external stakeholders
Preferred:
- Prior experience in a sales operations role at a B2B SaaS company
- Experience leading a CRM migration project
- Familiarity with the RFP/DDQ processes
- Understanding of the contract review/negotiation process and terms
- Track record of working cross functionally to achieve results
