Overview of Job Role
1. To provide training and education services to Global Knowledge customers in accordance with vendor-specification, and to the quality standards documented in Global Knowledge’s quality procedures.
2. To provide sales support where necessary, keeping up to date with technology and industry innovations and feeding back delegate sales leads in a timely fashion.
3. To assist UK/EMEA sales and product management, providing sales support and customer engagement.
4. To respond to all operational, sales and customer requests within allotted time-scale.
5. To attend, where necessary, vendor TTTs and be prepared to redeliver to EMEA trainers as and when required.
Keys Areas of Responsibility
1. To be qualified and authorized to deliver assigned training courses prior to first delivery, ensuring the appropriate vendor process is followed
2. To deliver technical training courses as specified by the course vendor and in consultation with designated scheduling manager.
3. To deliver training courses to the required quality standards as detailed in Global Knowledge’s quality procedures
4. To adhere to vendor-specific requirements including but not limited to obtain / renew certificates and following required examination and invigilation guidelines.
5. To pursue agreed development plans and ensure that preparation time and team teaches are utilized to achieve these plans.
6. To attain the required standards in transfer of technical skills and delivery techniques as assessed in team teaches.
7. To be prepared to deliver courses from a suitable home office environment and at all Global Knowledge center's and customer sites as and when required.
8. To keep abreast of industry and vendor technology, exam and certification guidelines, distributing information to colleagues where applicable.
9. To provide sales support in the form of delegate leads and customer visits.
10. To complete all GK and/or Vendor specific end of course evaluations and proactively ensure delegates do the same.
11. To respond within given time-scales to all operational requests for contact, information and customer enquiries.
12. To manage a classroom and minimize delegate disruption and dissatisfaction.
13. To work closely with the designated scheduling manager to ensure that trainer utilization meets or exceeds the Company requirements.
14. To establish, build and maintain positive relationships and communication channels with all operational team members.
To perform any other duties as deemed necessary to support the growth and goals of the Company.
Experience / Qualifications Required
Essential
- Job holder must have appropriate accreditations related to the vendor technology or framework for delivery and must demonstrate a track record of delivering quality training programs. The job holder must also have appropriate certification / accreditation relating to the curriculum they teach
Desirable
- Possess a recognized training qualification and will have proven industry experience in an engineering or consultancy position relevant to the vendor training role
