About Call9: Call9 is breaking the mold of traditional Emergency Medicine and telemedicine while reinventing 911. Our patient-centered proprietary telemedicine platform connects off-site emergency physicians with on-site emergency medicine trained Clinical Care Specialists (CCS). Call9 provides a spectrum of emergency care services at the patient’s bedside in skilled nursing facilities.

Position Summary: As Director of Clinical Care, you will be responsible for leading and transforming our division of Clinical Care Specialists (Paramedics and EMT’s). In this exciting and entrepreneurial role, you will be both a leader and influencer of our team of Clinical Care Specialists (CCS). You will head Call9 efforts in developing a robust multi-market CCS team growth strategy, while also managing and guiding professional development for our CCS team. As Director, you will contribute to the facilitation of clinical education, daily clinical operations, policy creation, and management of day-to-day duties of the CCS team.

Responsibilities

  • Process Implementation - Implement cross-functional team building strategies to optimize CCS performance
  • Partnership - Partner with the Clinical Operations team to create and implement policies and procedures for CCS team, while fostering our company-wide culture
  • Management - Manage day-to-day operations of the CCS team, including resource assignment, coaching, performance reviews, and discipline
  • Skill Competency - Ensure CCS maintains the appropriate skill competencies necessary to perform physician-directed tasks
  • Staffing - Ideal candidate will step in and manage a team of CCS and identify critical holes and requirements in staffing
  • Metrics - Provide annual budget information with strategic assessments
  • Resources - Identify creative technology needs and proactive approaches to optimize the patient experience and/or bypass operational hurdles.
  • Education Facilitation - Works with Clinical Operations team to lead, develop and implement education strategy

  • Leader who will coach a large number of employees and provide an example to others during challenging situations
  • Problem-solver with the ability to step in and develop resolutions, while working closely with our product development team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years + in related position (i.e. Director of Nursing, Director in a Healthcare capacity)
  • Experience in the healthcare field, required
  • Start-up organization experience, preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Business or in a related field, required
  • Master’s Degree in a related field, preferred
