We are looking for a Director of Office Management at Freshly's headquarters in Manhattan, New York.

The Office Management team ensures that every Freshly office runs smoothly and efficiently including fully stocked office supplies at all times, working with vendors, planning events, making sure the facilities are clean, orderly, and safe. With 5 existing locations (and growing!) it is critical that we establish consistent office management processes across the locations. This will allow for the company’s consistency with, culture, events and protocols, and will ensure that all the employees have the same familiar feeling of Freshly wherever they are working from (from furniture, work spaces, office looks, vendors, perks, even to microwaves and meal locations) but most importantly SPIRIT! Your department will also ensure that we obtain economies of scale with vendors, and we share best practices across the organization.

As the Director of Office Management, you will lead the above vision, and manage the team of Office Managers at Freshly. You will be responsible to hire, train your team, to manage the budget, and to establish and maintain the protocols across all Freshly’s offices that will make Freshly one of the best places to work in the US.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire and manage the team of Office Managers for each Freshly location, present and future.
  • Manage the Office Management budget and budgeting process.
  • Establish the protocols, tools and policies to ensure that budget is hit with the require level of services as established by the Company and the Chief of Staff.
  • Establish Office Management request processing system (protocols and processes)
  • Establish performance and team KPIs, and monitoring/satisfaction/measures.
  • Assist in the facilitation of the Company events such as town halls, board meetings, cultural events in what pertain to the office spaces.
  • Assist in the design, organization and management or any other interconnected, cross-functional projects pertaining office spaces as needed by the Executive Team and lead by the Chief of Staff.
  • Help organize processes, develop systems, and identify team efficiencies for continuous improvements for the Office Management Team.
  • Assist with special administrative projects and the needs of the Chief of Staff.

About You:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree (preferred).
  • Minimum of 7 years experience leading a team in office and administrative support, or in a similar role.
  • Proven management skills, you get the best out of your team.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong detail orientation and flexibility.
