Our mission is focused on sustainability and using AI/ML data to solve real estate’s biggest challenge, sustainability.


An estimated 40%-70% of the World’s carbon emissions come from commercial real estate energy use. 


We help the World's biggest companies use Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to command and control buildings in real-time, reducing real estate carbon footprint, automatically detecting building anomalies (like leak prediction), and increasing asset valuation.



The Role


Prescriptive Data has formed partnerships with some of the World’s largest real estate consulting and technology companies. We are looking for an executive to lead our business development department and work closely with strategic partners to drive new business and global carbon emission reduction.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Engage with some of the World’s largest technology and real estate consulting companies and play a key role in designing commercial activities
  • Work closely with strategic growth and channel partners to identify new business opportunities
  • Perform the necessary research, qualify and develop a channel-driven sales strategy
  • Consistent prospecting (hunting) with channel partners using a disciplined, planned approach
  • Contribute to and execute against Prescriptive Data’s end-to-end BD strategy, from prospect identification to close and scale-up
  • Develop key relationships with the executive (C-Level), financial & technical executives responsible for the decision-making process to drive the solution sale from the first call through close
  • Assist sales team in the sales process to cultivate and manage long-term relationships and sell large, complex energy solution offerings with estimated energy and carbon emission savings
  • Develop and execute strategies to ensure a steady pipeline of new business
  • Maintain a healthy, steady pipeline of new business opportunities, and provide accurate sales forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Secure qualified meetings consistently
  • In client meetings actively listen to client needs, and present relevant solutions; ability to engage senior client staff to solve problems
  • Identify areas in the market where there is potential for business growth
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop creative solutions that effectively address channel partner challenges, including customized and standardized approaches that can harness multiple data sources to generate compelling insights
  • Ability to project thought leadership and act as an ambassador
  • Develop and manage a communications plan to ensure that Prescriptive Data is top-of-mind for client and prospect organizations for future opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records within Salesforce as the primary means of managing sales pipeline and activity

Qualifications

  • Track record of owning and executing complex, consultative deals
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience in commercial real estate, technology, or sustainability is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in a partner account management / solution sales business development role
  • Solid business acumen inside and outside of the energy industry
  • History of cross-functional stakeholder and senior management engagement on key business issues
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills including presentation and excel skills
  • Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Ability to adapt to changing industry demands and internal and external factors
  • Strong negotiating and closing skills
  • Problem solver, offering practical thinking and approaches when applicable, providing sound analysis and judgment when making decisions and/or recommendations
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and follow-through skills
  • Must be self-directed and able to learn the business and new products quickly
