Director, SMB Strategy and Programs

We are looking for a Director, SMB Strategy and Programs to join Snap Inc. This leader and their team will be responsible for defining and implementing the strategy to grow and retain Snap’s SMB customers. Working closely with functional execution centers, they will methodically develop segment based treatments that can successfully convert, grow and retain SMB’s.
The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record in leading the setup, execution, and management of global programs, experience in third-party program management, a passion for growing B2B relationships through efficient operations and service excellence, and a keen eye for identifying and scaling processes and workflow opportunities. They are a strategic and analytical problem solver, skilled operator, and expert influencer with the demonstrated ability to drive consensus and coordinate execution across product, marketing, sales and service teams.
What you’ll do:
Develop annual and semi-annual business strategy and execution plans for Snap’s SMB business unit
Build and lead a team of global program managers responsible for the activation, growth and retention of SMB advertisers
Design and establish an operating model for predictably scaling B2B relationships with SMB’s
Develop a business growth measurement model that accurately forecasts advertiser growth and revenue for SMB’s
Partner with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Partnerships, Measurement, and Data Science, to implement and measure segment based treatments that achieve business goals
Deliver against advertiser and revenue growth targets
Facilitate ongoing, timely, and proactive executive communications regarding SMB Advertiser behaviour, growth and insights
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Depth of knowledge and experience across sales, service, marketing and program management
Detail oriented, hands on active leadership
High facility for data driven decision making and business analytics
Operational mindset with proven ability to design and implement end to processes across the customer lifecycle
B2B relationship management at scale, service and customer success mindset
Exceptional cross functional leadership
Track record of influencing behavior at a variety of levels in the organization
Experience simplifying complexity and effectively communicating with business and technical executives, as well as external stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
12+ years professional experience in program management, B2B CRM, technology and/or management consulting
Experience building and leading strategy and cross functional teams of reasonable size and complexity
Experience working with companies of multiple sizes and stages in their development maturity (startup to global enterprise)
Experience or familiarity with delivering programs through outsourced vendor partners
