Maven is looking for an Evening Manager, Care Advocacy to manage a team of dynamic Care Advocates and Care Specialists. Our Care Advocacy team is the voice of Maven, helping both practitioners and patients navigate digital care. You will work alongside the management team to foster team culture and ensure we continue to deliver high quality, empathetic care for women and families on their family planning journeys.
We are seeking someone who will work from 3PM - 12AM EST, Monday through Friday.
As an Evening Manager, Care Advocacy at Maven, you will:
- Bring your passion for people management to supervise Care Advocate and Care Specialist team members
- Learn the ins and outs of Maven’s business and the day-to-day Care Advocacy responsibilities, diving in to directly master our family planning programs, communication channels, video appointment workflows, and care management processes
- Regularly participate in individual contributor coverage when there are gaps in 24/7/365 staffing, and carry a small caseload of members throughout their program journey
- Lead by example to ensure a culture focused on empathetic care; ensuring the needs of our members and providers are met in an exceptional manner
- Coach individual team members through career and skill development in partnership with our People team
- Facilitate the team’s alignment with broader organizational objectives
- Collaborate cross-functionally with our Care Support, Care Operations, Product, Data, Provider Operations, Engineering, and Client Success teams
- Participate as an active team member on functional projects or initiatives, and successfully lead specific aspects of larger member-care related projects
- Other duties as assigned
We’re looking for you to bring:
- 7+ years of experience in allied health, human services, or healthcare organizations, with at least 5 years of management experience
- Exceptional relationship management skills and commitment to delivering service excellence
- Strong sense of empathy applied to direct reports, members, and providers
- Savvy business judgment support for data-driven, results-oriented decision-making
- Passion for details, responsiveness and organization and an interest in helping others to learn these skills
- Passion for team motivation and community building
- Ability to create order from chaos, and willingness to roll up sleeves to directly solve challenging problems
- Bachelor’s degree
Additional helpful experiences and skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience in family planning and maternal-child health areas such as pregnancy, postpartum, adoption, surrogacy, and fertility
- Experience in care/case management
- Clinical licensure in a nursing, social work, or other provider-related field
