Away is seeking an highly organized Executive Associate to two senior leaders: Away’s CEO and our Chief Brand Officer. The ideal candidate will manage executive schedules, coordinate travel, and plan meetings. More importantly, you will build relationships throughout the organization and represent the company and brand in line with our culture. You are a trusted professional and will act as an extension of both the CEO and CBO in terms of voice and judgment. You minimize conflicts and maximize productivity for the CEO and CBO, enabling them to do their best work. This role will report to the Senior Executive Associate and is based at our HQ in Noho, NYC.

REQUIREMENTS

What you’ll do:

  • Anticipate needs of the co-founders before and during each workday
  • Extensive and heavy scheduling, monitoring, and prioritizing of the day-to-day incoming communication and requests for time
  • Ensure CEO and CBO are kept on schedule and on time for meetings day-to-day
  • Manage both calendars to ensure a productive and positive flow to the day's activities and ensure that their days run smoothly
  • Work alongside the CEO and CBO to help make the company and their day-to-day work run like a well oiled machine
  • Regular offsite planning for leadership team including all administrative details and support planning offsites for other functions as needed
  • Support the press team as they coordinate and schedule co-founder media engagements and speaking opportunities
  • Arrange all travel including flights, hotels, ground transportation; obtain visas, passport renewals, or any other travel documents for both
  • Interact with employees, investors, partners and executives in the industry of all levels

Who you are:

  • Have 1-3 years of full-time experience as an Executive Associate or in a similar role providing administrative support to a senior executive
  • Heavy calendar, travel, and meeting planning experience required
  • Demonstrates ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and successfully
  • Possesses strong project management skills; one who thinks ahead and anticipates needs—you’re never satisfied with the status quo, always thinking “how can we do this better?”
  • Excellent Mac skills & superior proficiency in Google Calendar
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Hard working with a "no task is too small" attitude
  • Adhere to confidentiality and sensitive information
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced and energetic environment
  • Excited by the opportunity to grow with the company
  • A passionate ambassador of the brand
  • You love to travel (but that’s a given)
