Reporting to the Head of Field Operations, this position requires a proven ability to network both on-site and at a partner level, a strong understanding of technology systems and extensive event operations experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Lead a team of Field Operations agents, based in New York and LA.
  • Work with account managers to design and support the access strategies at our partner venues and festivals
  • Provide training on DICE access technology and procedures both in the office and on-site, ensuring all our partners receive first-class support
  • Oversee the box office planning, support, and operations on-site at partner venues and festivals in collaboration with account management team
  • In collaboration with the Head of Event Services you will work closely with the DICE Product team to build and maintain industry-leading products to manage access for fans
  • Help meet partners needs by understanding current DICE Standards
  • Research local suppliers that might contribute to partners’ and DICE’s best interests.
  • Work with Head of Event Services & Head of Partner Success to set & share team KPIs & deliverables, localizing processes to optimize workflow
  • Oversee and manage the device inventory and logistics within the US territory

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of experience in event management, with specific experience in access control, box office solutions and first tier technical support.
  • 3+ years leadership and team management experience
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing onsite operations teams. Including, but not limited to Access Control and Box Office teams.
  • Ability to think on your feet and respond quickly and rationally to any urgent issues
  • An eye for detail and excellent communication skills to make sure everyone knows the vital info
  • Previous experience working with wired and wireless networking tools
  • Solid understanding of Android, iOS, Windows and Web working environments (tools)
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Excited about problem-solving
  • Background and a clear understanding over the entertainment industry standards
