Cadre is looking for a General Manager to lead the growth and scale of our core investment products including both portfolio and individual deal offerings. Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for developing the final structure of our investment offerings, as well as ensuring we grow these products across our various investment channels and segments. You will partner with the investments, sales, marketing, and product teams to develop and grow the number of individuals investing across the Cadre offerings. Beyond setting and executing on a go-to-market strategy for our current investment offerings, you will also direct the growth of new investment products and offerings in the future. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Drive planning, go-to-market launch, and continued business development of investment products for target individual investor segments. Major products include:
    • Cadre Portfolio for Accredited Investors 
    • Cadre Deal-by-Deal (“DBD”) for Qualified Purchasers
    • Emerging / new products & offerings
  • Maintain an intimate level of knowledge of different investor types and what motivates them, and be able to map product ideas and go-to-market strategies to each
  • Ensure we have structured all offerings to maximize growth and scale of investor base
  • Review and set packaging and pricing of investment offerings for various investment segments
  • Ensure alignment on growing products through marketing, sales and product enhancements
  • Proactively maintain competitive set analysis relative to industry peers and make recommendations to solidify advantages and improve product deficiencies
  • Build and manage a team of high performers 
  • Oversee projects end to end; be prepared to jump into different areas of the business and take responsibility in certain mission-critical areas

What You Have: 

  • 8+ years of business experience, including 3+ years of real estate private equity or real estate investment management experience and 4+ years of experience in a high growth technology company or high-growth operating capacity 
  • Comfortability managing a P&L (business unit, product, or program) at a high-growth organization
  • Previous success demonstrating strategic thinking, innovation, collaboration, customer focus, and the ability to deliver and drive results
  • Demonstrated success leading a team and product cross functionally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams distributed in multiple geographic locations
  • Strong track record of developing talent to create high performing, collaborative teams
  • A player-coach mentality, with a natural drive to develop those around you 
  • A true understanding of the real estate investment industry, with the ability to develop, iterate and structure fund investment products for target investors 
  • The intellectual curiosity and flexibility needed to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, a builder and systems thinker
  • Executive presence and experience influencing senior level leadership internally and externally
  • Ability to resolving conflicts, escalations and negotiations via win/win solutions
  • Relevant BA/BS degree or professional accreditation. Preferred: MBA or other advanced degree
  • Customer-centric focus and track record of delivering world-class service or products to target customers
