Job Description
- Specialist will be working to support our Peacock platform, concentrating on onboarding and on original content. Will act as a primary contact for the Peacock editorial and Partner Operations teams.
- Specialist will need to be well versed in communicating and love doing so- there is a lot of talking with vendors, third party clients and network partners. There will be weekly calls, as well as onboarding calls, that the specialist will be a part of and will be expected to participate.
- Will work with clients to coordinate delivery of content as needed, and will be working to meet launch dates.
- Partner well with other members of the program operations team- it takes a team to do fulfillment, ingest and onboarding. May be expected to cross train on functions where it makes sense.
- Responsible for material management of programs, which includes coordination of delivery, fixes and replacements.
- Will assist on coordinating quality control screening, version control and file completion.
- Responsible for timely troubleshooting and escalating to quickly rectify any potential issues ahead of content launch dates.
- Have a strong understanding of technical services and applications including Mediator and Translator, as well as a working understanding of OTTO.
- May be asked to assist on other assignments across the team pending bandwidth, and while assigned to Peacock, brand assignment could change based on future business needs.
- Television doesn't stop over holidays and weekends- specialist will need to be available to be on call over holidays and weekends at supervisor's discretion.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production, post-production or broadcast environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a job using computers and software applications including MS outlook, MS Excel and the internet.
- Minimum of 2 years in a role requiring effective communication with diverse audiences, ranging from non-technical senior leadership executives to technical professionals and operations staff.
- Must be willing to work in a hybrid model, and understand that business needs may alter over time.
