About the Role:
With our headcount growing at lightning speed, internal events play a pivotal role in ensuring we stand together with our core values - Aspire, Excel, Unite. We are looking for a passionate Events Specialist to join our growing Internal Events team.
You will be delivering within our global Events strategy and ensuring the smooth delivery of internal company events. From monthly CKO Socials, Department Development Weeks to our staff highlight of the year, the CKO Retreat; These events will range in size from 50-1500+ attendees, you will mainly be based in New York office but there will be occasional need to travel.

What You will be doing:
- End to end event management harmonious to our values
- Manage all event logistics, timeframes and schedules
- Forecast all internal needs – venue, catering, promotional materials, attendee registration, production requirements, etc.
- Negotiate contracts with venues and suppliers
- Budget management
- Report and evaluate event success and improvement opportunities
- Build events in alignment current and future industry innovations
- Ensure relevant risk assessments, H&S legislation, insurances and procurement processes are considered for each event
- Manage internal and external third party vendors and service providers
About You:
- Demonstrated experience in Event Management
- Natural project coordinator (knowledge of project management tools e.g. Clickup)
- Great communicator
- Solid knowledge of event trends
- Ability to adapt to changing requirements seamlessly
- Resourceful at coming up with creative ideas
- Highly organised
- Proactive, always thinking one step ahead
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Hands-on, always ready to roll up your sleeves
