What We're Looking for:

The IT Reliability Engineer will work with Domio teams to provide and support the IT equipment and services they need. This person will also drive engineering projects intended to reduce the overall IT workload by automating common manual tasks through scripts. A successful IT Reliability Engineer excels in a fast-paced team environment and possesses excellent communication skills. This person has a high degree of technical aptitude over a large scope of IT software, hardware, networking disciplines, and is comfortable in some scripting or programming language.

At Domio You Will:

• Work within a fast-paced, team environment to drive value from Day 1
• Work with Domio teams to provide and support the IT equipment and services they need
• Be responsible for the administration and maintenance of business critical IT systems
• Utilize a scripting language (such as Python or Bash) to automate and reduce the overall IT workload
• Research, propose, and deliver solutions aimed at improving the overall state of IT at Domio (including automation, vendor systems, new tools)

Who You Are:

• You have 3+ years hands-on experience in an IT support role, supporting systems like Microsoft Windows 7 & 10 and Macintosh OS 10.12 or later
• You have a high degree of technical aptitude over a large scope of IT software, hardware, and networking disciplines (such as DNS, DHCP, Email, HTTP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP protocols and applications)
• You seek to provide not just service on tickets, but solutions to underlying problems
• You are comfortable in at least one scripting or programming language and can utilize your skillset to not just complete tickets but automate and reduce your workload over time
• You have proven skills in PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation
• You can work successfully with limited supervision
• You are able to occasionally lift or carry desktop computers up to 25 lbs
• You have some exposure to Linux or Unix
• Ideally, you have a Bachelor's degree in Computer science or an IT related field and/or industry training such as Microsoft, AWS, or GCP certifications
• Ideally, you have experience with Cisco, Linux systems administration, SQL, server administration, and project management
