Manager- Warehouse Management System
You will be responsible for leading the team of analysts and business super users to ensure the development and functionality of the next gen Warehouse Management System. You will support the day to day warehouse operations that function within the system, while embracing Peloton values, policies and all relevant procedures. You will collaborate with Field Ops Warehouse Managers, Distribution teams, and supply chain process teams to improve features, functions, process, and help eliminate inefficiencies. You will maximize operational excellence, quality, and efficiency in a sustainable way for our customers, across all of our products and channels and geo regions.
Responsibilities
- Help to create the vision and annual roadmap for our warehouse management systems. This includes developing a deep understanding of our systems and business to be able to identify opportunities for improvement
- Document necessary enterprise technology architecture artifacts, design and analysis work, possibly including project postmortem documentation and metric collection
- Collaborate with business constituents, other ES team members, project teams and staff in various IT functional areas as needed to fulfill the responsibilities described above
- Perform Architecture assessment analysis and provide High Level Architecture Landscape & Design for requested changes using lucid charts, Vision, etc.
- Provide application/technology expertise within the assigned function including conducting In-depth quality reviews on design and testing
Requirements
- Complete understanding of the SDLC and Change Management process
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to meet common objectives through teamwork
- Excellent Problem Analysis, Customization design, Integration Testing, and System Testing
- Ability to meet and discuss with functional team users to identify opportunities for business improvement and to provide optimized solutions
- Primary technology liaison to the Business groups regarding application systems architecture landscape
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex business problems and recommend solutions
- Keep abreast of latest tools / applications / techniques in the assigned area
- Accomplish effort estimation of scope, provide Architecture guidelines & solution designs and recommend best approach for the business requirement
- Have In-depth application expertise for SaaS Applications and Other Business systems such as Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, JDA, Red Prairie, Manhattan Associates
- Review, recommend and influence 3rd party software solutions and adherence to technology standards - RF Smart, Shipwire, Shopify, Quiet, XPO, JB Hunt
- Analyze business needs to help ensure WMS solution meets the business objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen
- Analyze, review, and refactor system architecture boundaries to increase efficiency or to adapt to new program and technology requirements

- Understand governance and policy concepts. Use the experience to create processes and policies and establish governance infrastructures
- Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through on details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Developers, Testers and Production Support teams to implement innovative technical solutions via iterative approach reducing time to delivery
- Mentor development and support teams by guiding with SOA development standards/guidelines and insights into domain architecture
- Works towards application stability and restoration of service and prevents problems and roadblocks
- Utilize technical background and/or experience building in house systems/software to partner with our product and engineering teams
- Guide our engineering and product partners in the ideation and building phases of projects in order to ensure supply chain operations’ needs and requirements are being considered
- Be responsible for the operational implementation of WMS system projects and indirectly manage supply chain team to ensure successful adaption of any changes
- Monitor/Manage change requests from Group Leaders & Qualified Users to the Supply Chain team are created with accuracy, submitted in a timely fashion, and followed up on in JIRA
- Provide first line system and IT support for our WMS platform
- Monitor necessary user account access, IT hardware, and IT materials to work within the system are established, available and maintained
- Verify that the system works as intended after a deployment of a release
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Logistics or related fields is preference
Experience Requirements
- 10+ years of WMS experience, preferably in Manhattan Associates WMOS/PKMS, JDA RedPrairie WMS, SAP WMS
- Strong understanding of EDI and integration technologies / methodologies related to WMS systems including EDI transactions: 810, 832, 855, 856, 945, etc
- Understanding of serialized inventory vs non serialized inventory
- 5+ years of management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, Lucid Charts, Visio, Word, Excel
- Exposure to Warehouse Management System partner technologies like cubiscan labor management, Manufacturing Execution
Global Experience
- Prior global experience related to international shipping, cross border fulfillment, and intercompany transfers would be beneficial (EU and APAC)
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Some international and domestic travel as required to insure successful implementation initiatives
