Better.com is growing, and we’re looking for a Document Coordinator to join our Post Closing team. If you’re looking to make an impact alongside a collaborative team that’s redefining the homeownership industry, check us out.

The position is responsible for performing daily office tasks such as mail sorting/processing, filing, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting, and other similar duties. This position will operate on-site, in the office to execute all physical mailing responsibilities and computer based data entry tasks (spreadsheets, mortgage systems, etc.)

What you’ll do as a Document Specialist:

  • Complete job functions such as opening and sorting packages, determine accurate destination for shipping, within stated SLA time.
  • Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Familiar with a variety of Post Closing concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Communicates with various internal and external parties to confirm receipt and shipments of loan packages/files.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Report to work in-office daily (following safety precautions)
  • Ability to work overtime if needed

  • 2+ years of applicable experience
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Independent problem solver with the ability to execute with little supervision
  • Enjoys working in a fast paced and team environment

  • Effective communicator with the desire to work collaboratively across teams
