THE ROLE 

As our temporary Office Manager, your work will center around coordinating and overseeing the smooth running of Mack Weldon HQ in New York City. You will be the face of Mack Weldon, responsible for creating a happy and welcoming reception and providing office coordination, executive support to the CEO and exceptional Mack Weldon event planning. This position will be a 3-4 month contract.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors and staff that come to Mack Weldon HQ
  • Manage daily office administration, including office supply inventory, food and beverage stock and general housekeeping and organization of workspaces and conference rooms
  • Serve as the main point of contact for office-related third parties, including building staff, cleaning staff, food/drink vendors and office suppliers
  • Provide personal assistance and administrative support to the CEO, including daily schedule management, travel arrangements and expenses and meeting preparation
  • Assist other members of the Leadership Team as needed
  • Be a steward of Mack Weldon’s company culture by planning events and creating “surprise & delight” moments for the team
  • Lead the planning and execution of Mack Weldon company events, including monthly staff meetings, happy hours, offsite meetings and parties
  • Assist recruiting with candidate onsite interview coordination
  • Play a key role in onboarding and welcoming new hires by scheduling their first week of events, ordering IT equipment and setting up accounts
  • Help product teams with placing and shipping PR orders

  • Hourly rate range of $28-$33 per hour. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC - based position. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience and qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other MW employees.
