Office Operations Associate
ActionIQ is looking for a welcoming, dynamic and resourceful candidate to manage our awesome new office space and all the aspects that keep it running as a well-oiled machine. As the first point of contact for visitors, this person will be key in creating a clean, inviting and professional impression that well-represents the company. As the go-to in managing the office environment for our employees, the ideal candidate will be excited to work in a buzzing, fast-paced company and manage all aspects of office operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of office operations and procedures to ensure the office is buzzing along smoothly
- Work alongside IT to implement any softwares necessary to ensure guests sign in properly and greet guests when they arrive
- Act as the primary point of contact for building management regarding repairs, maintenance and building issues
- Place company-related food orders to keep pantry stocked and oversee and help set up company-wide lunches once a week
- Build relationships with our employees to understand and anticipate needs
- Assist with company event planning and execution
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience managing an office space or working as an administrative assistant, preferably in a startup environment
- Resourceful and organized, with a proven ability to manage multiple work streams at once, as every well-running office environment is a buzzing hive of activity
- Anticipate employee needs, proactively placing orders when the coffee starts to run low (as an example)
- Track record of “figuring things out” when something breaks or unforeseen events arise
