ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a critical thinker and problem solver who can expect the unexpected? Are the small details massively important to you? We are looking for an organized, considerate and highly efficient people person to join our team as a Receptionist. The ideal candidate will be polished, professional, and an enthusiastic team player!

We are a fun, fast-paced and exciting start up! As part of the people team you will own the visitor and office experience. You will set the tone as the face of VTS by being customer obsessed - from greeting each guest that walks through the doors to ensuring our team members have what they need to work effectively. If this is you, we can’t wait to meet you!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Greet office guests (clients, candidates, friends, etc.)
  • Maintain the office environment to ensure a clean and organized appearance at all timesBe the go-to person for employee & guest needs
  • Work on & monitor our office experience tickets
  • Register all visitors with building securityServe as the point person for building management & services
  • Assist with onboarding new employees
  • Accept deliveries, sort mail, and assist with outgoing mail & packages
  • Order & maintain office supplies & snacks inventory
  • Coordinate setup & catering for meetings and internal events (Happy Hours, Speaker Series, All Hands, Meet-ups, etc.)
  • Assist with ad-hoc people team projects as they arise
  • As part of the People team, keep your finger on the pulse of employee engagement and consistently strive to instill our values in our company culture

  • Professional, intelligent, considerate and able to interface with all types of people in a polished and friendly manner
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing and ever-changing priorities

  • A proactive and motivated individual with a willingness to identify projects and dive in head first
