Join our Macquarie team as a Senior Associate in our New York office. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for providing settlement services for numerous front-end Commodities and Global Markets businesses and sales teams.
Responsibilities will include:

  • Initiation of movements across customer accounts held with the bank
  • Loan processing and Invoicing
  • Set up of static loan data
  • Nostro account management
  • Issuing new and amended Letters of Credit
  • Handling of both physical and electronic title documents
  • Validating and settling physical commodity transactions
  • Reconciliation of collateral and inventory positions
  • Borrowing base validations
  • Liaising with different areas of the bank. i.e., Front Office, Legal, Credit, IT and market operation colleagues
  • Implementing current market practice procedures
  • Contribute to our Operational Excellence Program


To be successful in this role the candidate should have:

  • Previous experience in dealing with loan administration and collateral management
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships
  • Exposure across a broad range of commodity products, Agriculture, Energy and Metals
  • Experience of working in a busy team environment
  • Demonstrate leadership ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Understand bank account management and reconciliation
  • Ability to initiate and incorporate update procedures
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Have a desire to innovate and automate and innovate
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and direct contact
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word experience
  • Exposure to Alteryx and Power BI (not essential but a huge plus)
  • Right Angle experience (not essential but a huge plus)
  • Loan IQ Experience (not essential, but a huge plus)
  • Understand Borrowing Bases (not essential but a huge plus)


Salary range for this position: $60,000-$90,000 per year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
