Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Business Operations & Strategy will be a key enabler of growth and effectiveness for IAS. Focused on the commercial/customer facing organization, this role will build and execute core partnership operational processes, team operations, executive communications, and reporting to drive operational efficiency and visibility. The Business Strategy and Operations Senior Manager will be responsible for a broad spectrum of business critical projects. The position will require working closely with teams across the organization to understand issues and drive solutions quickly. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, analytical, and solutions-focused, able to unravel internal complexity, navigate the organization, and quickly understand the business.
You will be highly analytical with a talent for telling stories with data. An exceptional operator, a critical thinker, you will also have a proven track record of bringing ideas to life. You will help align and drive the adoption of the global sales strategy for your aligned business unit. With your analytical skills and market insights, you'll create actionable strategies and set the metrics to foster a goal-driven sales culture. Finally, you'll partner with all levels of the organization to ensure desired outcomes are achieved.
What you’ll do:
Proactively identify, develop, and drive key strategic initiatives that deliver long-term profitable growth and operational efficiency. Define business requirements and KPIs to track commercial performance and success.
Process creation and management: Build and formally document scalable processes, engagement models, and systems (including Salesforce, Confluence, and other internal tools) across cross functional teams to drive operational efficiency. Ensure adoption of processes and systems, and define expected results.
Oversee projects by managing overall coordination, communication, and relationships with the ability to escalate issues when necessary. Maintain and communicate milestones and anticipate potential risks.
Coordinate with supporting functions across the organization, including finance, legal, and other business units, as necessary to drive team goals.
Conduct ongoing analysis to provide data driven insights and reporting on competitive market, vertical/client needs
Synthesizing complex topics and detailed data analyses into compelling narratives and concise takeaways for senior management, including IAS executive team, on all strategic initiatives
Partner with Sales Leadership and the Business Operations Team on commercial forecasting and quota setting
What you’ll need:
5-7 years related experience including analytics, ad operations, sales operations, business consulting
Demonstrated experience with Digital Media and Content, AdTech, Search, and Data/Analytics
Strong quantitative and analytical capability – you are comfortable with data, unlocking key insights that drive strategic decision-making
Prior experience identifying, implementing, and analyzing sales KPIs and metrics.
Proven success in managing and coordinating across complex operations
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, lean organization amidst a shifting competitive landscape
Unmatched attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple work streams without sacrificing quality
Strong influencer skills amongst key stakeholders
Excellent ability to listen, understand, and translate senior leadership needs, scope projects accordingly
Curiosity and a desire to constantly innovate, challenge the status quo, and break glass when needed to achieve better outcomes and results
Experience with SFDC or other CRM data
BA or BS degree, MBA or degree desirable
