What You'll Do

In this role, you'll lead the Flatiron HealthCare (HC) Business Operations team. The “BizOps” team is responsible for operating and improving the processes, technology, and cross-functional collaboration that enable HC teams to achieve our goals. Key objectives you’ll partner on include revenue growth, customer experience and retention, profitability, successful go-to-market for new products & services, and regulatory compliance. You’ll work closely with BizOps customers and collaborators, including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product and Engineering, Strategic Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Corporate Applications in our solution design and delivery.

In addition, you'll also:

  • Define, scope and deliver transformational projects that dramatically enhance the velocity and sustainability of our business, unlocking new opportunities to grow faster and gain efficiency in our mature business lines
  • Own ongoing operations and program management for our business planning rhythm, including annual strategic planning, quarterly business reviews and sharing our strategy and results with the organization
  • Manage the process of bringing new products to market, collaborating closely with Product, Marketing and Finance teams
  • Oversee all revenue operations including the processes, tech, policies and enablement for net new sales, customer renewals and upsells, pipeline optimization
  • Define, optimize and deliver KPI reporting for your business partners, HC leadership, and the Biz Ops team to inform in-year progress to goals and adjust resourcing accordingly
  • Be the strategic partner to our:
    • Sales team, collaborating on our sales strategy, designing and delivering incentive compensation plans, managing pipeline data, running annual planning, supporting deal flow and designing the workflows that enable Flatiron to grow
    • Customer Success teams, maintaining our customer health scores and net promoter score programming, collaborating on the selection and management of systems and tools that enable the team to succeed, including Gainsight and Salesforce
    • Marketing team, collaborating on new product and service launches, defining the systems and tools backbone that enables us to assess the impact of Marketing activities

Who You Are

You're an Operations expert with 10+ years of experience leading a team to run the operations that enable businesses to grow, gain efficiency, and scale. You're excited by the prospect of rolling up your sleeves to tackle meaningful problems each and every day. You’re a kind, passionate and collaborative problem-solver who seeks and gives candid feedback, and values the chance to make an important impact. 

  • You have led a team of 10+ people previously, and have successfully empowered and inspired managers reporting to you to create a high-performing, diverse and sustainable team
  • You and your team have worked closely with partner teams to optimize how work is done, and have build trusting relationships with your internal customers and stakeholders
  • You have delivered transformative change in the organizations you’ve worked in previously, creating a measurable positive impact on the company’s ability to grow and scale, and gain efficiency
  • You have substantial experience working with systems and data to gather insights that help you to identify key areas to focus, and measure success in improving the operations and outcomes of partner teams
  • You are comfortable working in complex, cross-functional areas, and you can motivate and inspire stakeholders across other teams to move forward together, and unlock progress across the projects you are leading
  • You are a clear and compelling storyteller, and you are able to distill the core of why we should change or adjust our approach, use data to support your case, and gain the buy-in of your collaborators 
  • You are a problem-solver, and you can break down complex challenges into solvable parts and recommend compelling solutions
  • You are exceptionally organized and reliable, and you inspire and motivate high quality delivery, collaboration and performance from those around you
  • You build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues from a range of backgrounds and disciplines
  • You are able to travel to our NYC Headquarters 4-8 times annually
