Senior Engagement Manager

As a Senior Engagement Manager at Flatiron, you will be responsible for managing executive-level client relationships and overseeing account operations to ensure success within our Enterprise client segment (some of Flatiron’s largest clients) for Flatiron’s new Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) offering. This position requires outstanding client management, problem-solving, and communication skills; experience leading complex operations spanning multiple teams and stakeholders; and managing C-suite relationships and communications. Experience managing cross-functional operational and strategic teams/projects end to end is strongly preferred.

You will develop a deep understanding of our RCM offering and oversee Enterprise account operations while owning complex cross-functional initiatives engaging both client and internal teams. You will facilitate communication and problem-solving with our RCM team to ensure quality service delivery. You will be the key point of contact for your clients’ C-suite leadership team. You will be the clients’ thought partner by providing both operational and strategic insights/recommendations through your problem-solving skills and operational/strategic understanding. You will recommend process improvements within Flatiron and within our enterprise accounts, contributing to the development of the implementation and client success playbooks. We are looking for team members who can ensure our Enterprise clients are as successful as possible as quickly as possible and help us to scale and serve many more clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships ranging from frontline staff to the C-suite that provides leverage for decision-making and effective change management
  • Own end to end RCM operations by monitoring performance and quality while leveraging existing tools and working closely with our RCM delivery team
  • Define, effectively communicate, and train the combined team (client and Flatiron) to implement solutions for account operations issues including client escalations, process gaps/inefficiencies, and new services
  • Contribute to the design, documentation and execution of scalable client implementation and account management strategies that deliver an industry leading client experience
  • Support the growth of the team: help hire, develop, and mentor team members; plan for the future by identifying and addressing bottlenecks, gaps, and risks
  • Work cross-functionally across Flatiron teams to plan for rollouts and ongoing client support

About You:

  • Experience independently owning senior level stakeholder relationships/communication and accountability for delivering successful cross-functional project outcomes
  • Background in project management or working with operational teams at a high growth technology company or management consulting experience managing client and internal teams responsible for operational effectiveness
  • Ability to explore and interpret process workflows, data, and metadata to synthesize and execute strategies for process improvement
  • Ability to quickly synthesize information and data and present to senior level stakeholders
  • Operationally minded person who seeks to create standardized processes with strong organization, time management and project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to carry a collaborative culture and management style to interactions with other stakeholders, including those at Flatiron and the client
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to client site(s)

  • Proven ability to think outside the box, optimize processes and lead change
  • Experience with oncology billing/revenue cycle management technology, process design or workflow implementations
