● Focus on providing the best possible service to all of our nurses on assignment and corporate teammates (24 hour SLA or better) response times to questions - while building all systems and processes for scale
● Own, manage and enhance Nomad Health's People team systems, particularly its HRIS and related systems for managing HRIS, benefits, and compliance
● Own all benefits relationships and processes, ensuring our nurses on assignment and corporate teammates have the best possible benefits and experience around benefits - including monitoring utilization and other statistics
● Assists in the management of the annual benefit plan renewal and open enrollment processes; including testing of the open enrollment system
● Develop an innovative and engaging benefits education program that extends beyond the open enrollment period
● Manage all FMLA, family leave, and other leave policies
● Provide escalation support for day to day Employee Relations related to benefits cases
● Lead Nomad Health's efforts toward data-driven People team and workforce management, including maintaining people analytics systems and processes and providing regular reporting on workforce KPIs to Nomad Health's executive team
● Lead Nomad Health's broker relationships, negotiating existing contracts, sourcing new vendors, and implementing new software as appropriate
● In partnership with Nomad Health's compliance partners, own all workforce-related compliance and policy matters, particularly Nomad Health's Employee Handbook in all markets and teammate compliance training
● Own ACA compliance as well as EEO and other ad hoc projects that would arise
Requirements
● 7+ years of experience in Benefits with a demonstrated track record of driving transformational improvements for People functions and teammates
● Track record of being a great mentor
● Experience launching and managing HR systems ( benefits, analytics, etc.) from RFP to successful deployment
● Experience building out or enhancing HR analytics to drive improvements in productivity, organization effectiveness, enhance culture, and drive and measure strategic KPIs
● Experience leading benefits for a nationally distributed and non-exempt workforce of 1000 employees in 50 states
● Experience leading benefits, HRIS, and compliance initiatives for a corporate workforce of 200 employees
● Bachelor's degree required
