Role Summary:
The Sr Manager Of Supply Chain Enterprise Systems will manage a growing team that will develop and maintain supply chain business processes and technologies that enable industry best performances. The Sr Manager Of Supply Chain Enterprise Systems will be responsible for the team that monitors and measures the performance of supply chain applications and system integrations to ensure uninterrupted flow of data and information. You will serve as the primary point of contact for data interfaces and integration of supply chain technologies with our ERP system as related to inventory, deliveries, and fulfillments. You will oversee talent, leadership development, and structured performance management for team-based results, values and leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participates in strategic and long-term planning for business process improvements and information technologies related to Supply Chain including ERP, MES, QMS, WMS
- Analyzes and harmonizes business processes and improvements across the business in support of demand planning, sales/operations planning, and supply chain reporting
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies in supply chain and operations with experience in purchasing, finance resource planning procurement, Purchase Order, Transfer Order, Sales Order fulfillment and receipts
- Interacts regularly with executives and/ IT vendors, as well as supports key stakeholders in the scoping of projects and driving the appropriate ownership for ongoing success of project implementation
- Coordinates and prioritizes IT support and resources to efficiently and effectively achieve department goals in support of the corporate strategy
- Understanding existing business processes and technology to develop the “to be” state, and developing a transition plan to create measurable business value
- Performs full range of managerial responsibilities which may include but not be limited to: interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; performance management
Job Skills Requirements:
- Teaming up with business process owners, functional leads and subject matter experts to define functional business requirements, map our current business platforms, conduct a gap analysis of our processes and evaluate what external systems can do
- Driving implementation of the project cross-functionally from first detailing out the plan, collaborating to change business processes and customizing the solution to meet our unique business needs
- Strong experience communicating with business users and other functional stakeholders regarding process improvement or automation initiatives within the supply chain and warehouse network
- Understanding future business strategies and directions to anticipate technical needs
- Developing key metrics around project success, operations success, and business success
- Knowledge and experience with systems such as SAP, Netsuite, Manhattan WMOS, JDA where you have led implementation of solutions, managed BP changes and been a champion of system design
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies in supply chain and operations with experience in Manufacturing, Procure to Pay, Sales and Distribution, and Returns
- Understanding of EDI transactions: 810, 832, 855, 856, 945, 997
Competencies:
- Partner with Global and local Finance, Supply Chain, and Field Ops communities to ensure a complete understanding of requirements and quality in the delivery of business solutions
- Form strong working relationships with Supply Chain staff that run the core inventory processes locally, regionally, and globally
- Form strong working relationships with your Peloton peers and across the IT organization
- Document and analyze current business processes and underlying systems/applications
- Critically evaluate information gathered and recommend alternative solutions
- Monitor project progress, identify and escalate potential project risks and delays to management
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with technical staff and business users
- Coordinate and lead discussions to ensure understanding and alignment to projects and initiatives
- Recognize the relationship, dependencies and their impact to other projects
- Scrum Master, Product Owner, PMO or Six Sigma Project Management Experience and a strong understanding of waterfall and agile/SAFE project methodologies
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of business process, systems or information technology experience
- Minimum of 10 years experience with warehouse management and supply chain planning systems or equivalent technologies
- Prior experience managing teams of 5-25 employees
- Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart is a plus, Google Docs, Visio, Excel, SAP, Netsuite, JDA, Manhattan, Looker, Shopify, RF Smart, E2Open
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Domestic and/or international travel as required up to 20%
