Job Description
Want to join MSK's digital transformation? Currently we have over 900 applications supporting clinical operations, research and business operations. Under the VP of Enterprise Systems Transformation, an Application Rationalization Program has been initiated. In support of this new program, we're seeking a Manager of Application/Portfolio Rationalization.
You will:
- Manage application inventory by partnering with various stakeholders across MSK
- Support the implementation roadmap to eliminate, consolidate or replace systems where needed, and work with various stakeholders to ensure MSK Strategic Initiatives and operational standards are maintained
- Work with key stakeholders to explain the need for application rationalization and gain alignment and buy in on what needs to be accomplished and why
- Work closely with the Application Development Groups to understand and insure that all applications are properly identified as Systems of Engagement or Systems of Record or Systems of Insight and have a plan to support
- Work closely with the Infrastructure Team to ensure that infrastructure requirements are represented and included as part of the application rationalization process
- Support the MSK Digital Transformation and play a role to integrate application rationalization into the Digital Adoption Model
- Work with the Business Relationship Management (BRM) Group and Change Management Team to communicate and support end users for changes and enhancements to Retire, Repurchase, Re-factor, Re-platform, Re-host or Re-package applications / systems
You have:
- 7-10+ years of large-scale IT experience with recent work related specifically to software/application rationalization
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
