Publisher Solutions at Ogury

We are looking for a VP Publisher Development, responsible for driving partnerships with Comscore top 200 media companies.


Reporting to the Global Vice President, Global Strategic Publisher Partnerships, with a dotted-line to the President Americas, the role requires a candidate with a deep understanding of the ecosystem who has developed and nurtured strong relationships with executive leaders at publishers in the market.


You will use that knowledge and your understanding of Ogury offering to position innovative solutions as simple, accessible and easy to understand. This is a highly visible, client facing position that requires strong organisational skills, professionalism and an ability to build trust with senior decision makers at premium digital publishers. You will use your market-specific knowledge and book of contacts to blaze a trail for Ogury across the market.

What you will be doing

  • Build and grow a sales pipeline of tier 1 media companies 
  • Leverage your existing contacts to close deals with Comscore top 200 publishers and contribute to maximizing or exceeding targets. 
  • Build and Manage a high-performing publisher sales team. Ensuring that the teams are following best practice and are set up for success.
  • Work directly with the Global VP of Publishers and the President of America’s to set US business strategy and objectives for supply in the US.
  • Educate publishers on developments in the ecosystem and how our product offering addresses the challenges they face. 
  • Work crossfuncatilly with other leaders in the business to ensure supply is aligned with wider business units eg Sales, Ad ops and marketing. 
  • Develop a strong understanding of each publisher’s business and their needs
  • Develop complex sales strategies to identify key decision makers and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and address contractual concerns to close agreements.
  • Work closely with the Publisher Success teams to ensure a seamless transition from the sales process and into a program of long-term development and nurturing.
  • Work directly with the Solution Engineering team to ensure successful implementation of our solution. Collaborate with publisher account management teams to identify and close upsell opportunities with existing customers.
  • Provide the leadership team with market updates and revenue forecasts to assist with growth planning.
  • Attend industry and relevant events, representing and being the ‘voice of Ogury’ in the US.

About you

  • Previous experience in digital media with an in-depth understanding of the advertising landscape and publisher tech stack; ideally in the mobile web environment. 
  • Experience managing team members, responsible for their development and success. You lead by example and are able to motivate and inspire your team members. 
  • An excellent understanding and in-depth knowledge of the US premium publisher landscape, as well as a comprehensive book of contacts that you will be able to call upon from the outset. 
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record of complex deal making : great negotiation skills and strong abilities to persuade at a very senior level of an organization. 
  • Analytical/strategic thinker, creative problem solver, resourceful, able to initiate change and motivate innovation and creativity.
  • You have a basis for execution and a strong drive and sense of urgency to get things done.
