Lead on-site migrations and go-lives for Oracle OPERA Cloud at hotel properties across India. Clean and migrate OPERA data, manage cutovers, and train front desk and management teams. Serve as subject-matter expert bridging hotel operations and OPERA technical deployment.
This is a remote position.
PLEASE NOTE:
- This is 100% India (Remote Base with Domestic Travel when needed).
- Must be 100% willing to travel extensively across India for property deployments.
ROLE SUMMARY:
Are you a Front Office Manager, Duty Manager, or Night Auditor looking to transition out of 24/7 hotel operations and step into the corporate tech sector? OMM India , a global IT solutions provider, is seeking experienced hotel operations professionals to join our team as Oracle Implementation Consultants. In this role, you will travel to premier hotel properties across India (and eventually Southeast Asia) to lead the live migration, installation, and staff training for Oracle’s OPERA Cloud Property Management System.
You already know how to run a hotel using OPERA. We will train you to install it, deploy it, and become a highly paid corporate tech consultant.
- Data Cleansing: Review and audit existing guest profiles, reservations, routing codes, and financial data within the on-premise OPERA system to identify and clean up duplicate, outdated, or corrupted records prior to migration.
- Data Migration: Execute and oversee the secure extraction, mapping, and seamless transfer of the cleansed data from the legacy on-premise OPERA version into the live OPERA Cloud database.
- On-Site Go-Live Support: Travel extensively to client hotel properties across India to manage the live cutover and deployment.
- Training: Act as the on-site subject matter expert, training front desk agents, night auditors, and hotel management on the new OPERA Cloud interface and workflows.
Requirements
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in hotel operations (Front Desk Manager, Duty Manager, Night Auditor, or similar leadership roles) at premium 4-star or 5-star properties.
- Expert-level daily user of Oracle OPERA V5 and a strong understanding of how database records (profiles, rates, packages) map during system updates.
- High attention to detail regarding hotel data integrity (you must understand the backend financial and profile structures of OPERA, not just basic check-ins/check-outs).
- Exceptional, polished English communication skills to confidently train hotel teams during stressful system migrations.
- Must be 100% willing to travel extensively across India for property deployments.
