Our client is a venture-backed, AI-powered marketplace modernizing how essential public-sector and community assets are bought and sold. The company automates operational work across valuation, transaction management, payments, and freight so buyers and sellers can complete complex transactions with less time, cost, and friction. Founded in 2023, it has raised $18M and grown to approximately 35 employees.

This is a hands-on organic growth role for a builder who wants end-to-end ownership rather than an established playbook. You will create the organic acquisition engine from near zero across social, content, partnerships, earned media, referrals, SEO, and AI answer-engine optimization.

What you will do:

• Build and scale organic and earned channels that grow audience and customer acquisition.

• Own organic social across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels.

• Create and shoot platform-native content, including short-form video.

• Develop partnerships with creators, industry associations, platforms, and distribution partners.

• Build referral, affiliate, advocacy, and community growth programs.

• Own SEO and AI answer-engine optimization.

• Design experiments, define metrics, and scale the channels that compound.

• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering on campaigns and customer stories.

Requirements

Requirements:

• 4 or more years of hands-on organic growth marketing experience.

• A track record of building and scaling organic acquisition programs at a high-growth Series A to Series C startup, marketplace, or similarly fast-moving company.

• B2C or marketplace marketing experience with non-technical customers.

• Demonstrated ownership of organic social, press, partnerships, newsletters, referrals, or adjacent earned channels.

• Experience producing content directly, including short-form video.

• Strong quantitative judgment and the ability to connect audience growth to business outcomes.

• Comfort operating from near zero with high autonomy and limited structure.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

• Ability to work on-site five days per week in Flatiron, Manhattan, or willingness to relocate to New York City.

Nice to have:

• Marketplace experience.

• Existing relationships with creators, journalists, industry associations, or platform partners.

• SEO, AI answer-engine optimization, content-management, and marketing analytics experience.

Benefits

• $120,000 to $175,000 base salary, based on qualifications and experience.

• Meaningful stock-option equity.

• Relocation assistance for candidates moving to New York City.

• Daily lunch and dinner, outdoor workspace, and a collaborative in-person culture.

• Existing visa transfers, including OPT and H-1B transfers, may be considered.
