Position Overview:

We are seeking an Outbound Sales Manager to lead our dynamic team of Business Development Representatives and Investment Advisers dedicated to prospecting and educating investors on the unique benefits of art as a valuable asset class. Your role will involve optimizing call scripts, live call coaching, and refining our outbound processes to enhance effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People Management: Oversee a team of ~15 Business Development Representatives, including hiring, coaching, and performance management, ensuring accountability for both behavioral standards and key performance metrics.
  • Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop talent, ensuring a skilled and motivated team capable of delivering exceptional results
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to make data-driven decisions
  • Onboarding and Ongoing Training: Develop material and process to predictably ramp new hire learning and development  
  • Performance monitoring & management: Implement and monitor daily metrics, holding the team accountable for activity levels and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Utilize strong product knowledge and CRM expertise, with a preference for Hubspot familiarity
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies within the financial services landscape

Requirements or Skill Sets:

  • 5+ years of managing an outbound sales, financial advisor or brokerage team
  • 3+ years managing teams greater than 10 people
  • Experience working within finance industry 
  • Proficiency in sales CRM tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, or similar platforms
  • Demonstrated aggressiveness, analytical prowess, and strong organizational skills
  • Startup experience is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the US - no exceptions
  • Must be able to work out of our NYC office

How does Masterworks think about compensation?

The on-target compensation range for this role is $150,000–$190,000, inclusive of both base and variable compensation. Our ranges are very broad to accommodate all types of candidates and encourage growth. Specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on factors such as education, experience, qualifications, and alignment with market data. Exceptional candidates may receive salaries outside of the posted ranges.
