The P&C Analytics Sr. Associate is a part of the broader Office of the Chief People and Culture Officer, focusing on reporting, analyzing, and communicating data to the P&C and C&RM (Capacity and Resource Management) organizations and leadership to drive decision making and strategic business transformation. This role also works to provide data-driven insights to help the organization better understand our resources and capacity in order to better manage our workforce more strategically. This role will demonstrate excellence in critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and presenting insight to members of the firm in a consumable manner. 

Responsibilities 

  • Reporting: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders, as well as support the development and manipulation of ad hoc reports based on business needs.
  • Data Manipulation: Extract, clean, and transform large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Program Execution: Develop and execute data-driven programs and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Talent Insights: Analyze workforce data to provide actionable insights on Capacity Management, talent acquisition, retention, and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve data processes and implement best practices.
  • Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Maintain critical reporting documentation including the Reporting Catalog, Data Dictionary, and Reference Data. Ensure reporting-related meetings are well-organized by managing meeting setup, agendas, and summaries.

  • Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Data Communication: Ability to combine disparate data into actionable outcomes through proper understanding of the business and key metrics necessary for leaders to make informed decisions
  • Statistical Analysis: Strong understanding of statistical methods and their application in business contexts.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex data insights.
  • Executive Presence: Exhibit executive presence, confidence, and professionalism in all interactions with stakeholders.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data handling and analysis.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 4-5 years of experience in roles within consulting, information systems, and/or HR.
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with an understanding of information systems, analytics, and HR.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI).
    • Nice to haves: Knowledge of analytics tools or systems, such as Snowflake, SQL, Python, or R.
  • Effective communication, both written and oral. Experience in delivering sophisticated and consumable messages to leaders.
  • Demonstrated initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, ability to work effectively in changing environments.
  • Proven team player with ability to navigate cross functionally.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and effectively prioritize.

 

 

The base salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000. Placement within the pay range is at Grant Thornton’s discretion, and it is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to, job -related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, progression within the role, geographic location, and internal equity. At Grant Thornton, compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
