Goal- Construct and implement a long-term social media vision that integrates with cross-channel media plans.
- Drive agency-wide growth by pioneering new processes, roadmaps, and testing frameworks that are replicable across accounts.
- Cultivate a team capable of independent decision-making, sophisticated optimization, and proactive problem-solving.
- Build "superfan" client relationships based on deep trust, proven incremental growth, and masterful storytelling.
General Skills and Expectations:
- Deep mastery of Meta Ads Manager plus multiple secondary platforms (Reddit, LinkedIn, Nextdoor, Pinterest, TikTok)
- Exceptional management skills and ability to manage deadlines across multiple managed and dotted-line reports
- Specialized knowledge aligned to core client vertical
- Superior communication skills for internal and client partnerships
- Strategic and critical thinking, capable of planning towards the long term and big picture
Education and Experience:
- 4-6 years experience with paid social campaign management, agency or brand setting preferred
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university; a focus in Marketing, Advertising, or Communications is a plus but not required
Key Responsibilities
Media Strategy, Plan Development & Innovation
- Act as the primary strategic liaison, leading the research and presentation of social campaigns while integrating emerging trends like the Creator Economy and UGC.
- Develop comprehensive, "next-level" testing roadmaps that drive 10-20% annual spend growth through incremental performance gains.
- Oversee the holistic media planning process, coordinating across Search, Programmatic, and Video channels to ensure a unified strategic flow.
- Champion agency-wide innovation by authoring high-level POVs, leading learning series, and identifying strategic beta opportunities for clients.
Technical Expertise, Campaign Management & Media Plan Execution
- Instill a culture of technical excellence, ensuring the team follows rigorous QA best practices for 100% accuracy and brand safety.
- Validate and challenge existing platform setups, regularly identifying innovative ways to "game the algorithm" and improve performance.
- Master advanced research and 3rd-party data tools to guide the team in building data-backed strategies and competitive analyses.
Reporting and Measurement
- Lead the narrative on campaign impact, leveraging complex data and real-world business outcomes to answer the question, “Is social working?”
- Review and refine the team's reporting output, ensuring complex data is synthesized into succinct, visually compelling, and client-ready stories.
- Coordinate cross-channel measurement efforts to identify high-level trends and social’s specific influence on the broader media mix.
Team Management and Mentorship
- Direct the professional development of multiple reports, serving as a mentor who provides guidance on long-term vision and career growth.
- Optimize team-wide operations by streamlining large-scale projects, delegating effectively, and fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment.
- Implement scalable team-wide processes, including training plans and skillset trackers, to ensure managed reports track toward "next-level" performance.
- Proactively communicate team wins, challenges, and workflow improvements to senior leadership to ensure organizational health and happiness.
