K2 is seeking a Paralegal to support our clinics in a full-time remote capacity.

This Paralegal position requires someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive to support our Corporate Counsel and the broader legal function in reviewing, managing, and facilitating clinical research and corporate agreements. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional interested in healthcare, life sciences, and a fast-paced clinical trials environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, business development, finance, compliance, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Support and Administration: Assist Corporate Counsel in drafting, reviewing, and formatting standard agreements (including: Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs); Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs); Master Services Agreements (MSAs); Vendor and service agreements; Investigator agreements and site agreements). Facilitate the execution and routing of contracts with pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, research sites, and vendors. Track contract status, manage legal documentation, and maintain an organized and up-to-date contract lifecycle management system. Ensure all executed agreements and related documentation are properly filed and accessible.
  • Legal and Business Support: Help develop, organize, and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and standard operating procedures. Support the identification of contractual and administrative risks under the direction of Corporate Counsel. Assist in providing practical guidance to internal stakeholders regarding contract processes, timelines, and status. Support contract lifecycle management and drive process improvements for departmental efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Clinical Operations, Finance, and executive leadership to facilitate document flow and approvals. Support rapid growth initiatives, including new site expansion and partnerships, by ensuring legal documentation is processed timely. Help build and maintain scalable legal infrastructure and administrative processes to support company growth. Assist with internal compliance initiatives, policy development, and documentation gathering. Conduct basic legal research and gather information on healthcare regulatory and operational matters as directed by counsel.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate’s degree, Bachelor’s degree, or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.
  • 1–3 years of relevant paralegal, legal assistant, or contract administration experience.
  • Strong proficiency in reviewing, proofreading, and formatting contracts and legal documents.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare, life sciences, clinical research, or commercial contracting.
  • Experience working in-house, at a CRO, healthcare company, or supporting life sciences clients.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial agreements, HIPAA, and FDA regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience managing contract databases or lifecycle management software in a fast-paced environment.
