Kelley Kronenberg, a premier national law firm, is seeking an accomplished and entrepreneurial Partner-level Attorney to lead a team within our Buffalo, NY General Liability Practice. As a Partner and Unit Lead, you will oversee and manage a General Liability caseload while contributing to Kelley Kronenberg’s presence in the Buffalo market. This position is designed for a results-driven leader who combines strong litigation instincts with a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a General Liability practice unit within the Buffalo Division, overseeing caseload distribution, team performance, and client service delivery.

  • Handle complex General Liability matters—including Labor Law and construction defect—from inception through resolution, including depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials.

  • Develop and execute case strategies while maintaining and growing a book of business.

  • Collaborate with the Chair of General Liability and other Unit Leads to align practice group goals with broader firm strategy.

  • Partner with the firm's in-house Business Development and Marketing team to service existing clients and pursue new business opportunities.

  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture consistent with the firm's values.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in New York and in good standing with the New York State Bar.

  • 6+ years of experience in General Liability litigation and scaffold law, with demonstrated Partner-level responsibility.

  • Established or developing book of business with the drive to expand client relationships in the Buffalo market.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage and mentor a growing team.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of high performance in a fast-paced litigation environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Base Salary – $200,000 – $250,000, commensurate with experience and book of business and not inclusive of bonus.
