What you'll do:

• Improve participant decision-making by providing clear and accurate information regarding applicable plan provisions.

• Respond to participant inquiries through inbound telephone calls and some outbound calls.

• Research and address client-specific participant questions while following established procedures.

• Complete transactions related to participant inquiries with limited supervision.

• Meet established timeliness, accuracy, quality, and productivity standards.

• Document participant interactions by creating detailed and accurate notes in the case management system.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to listen carefully, understand participant questions, and provide clear explanations.
  • Ability to navigate computer systems and learn new software, processes, and client-specific procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple client requirements and processes.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure when assisting participants.
  • Ability to meet established performance, quality, and productivity expectations.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Previous experience in benefits administration, pension services, customer service, call center operations, or transaction processing is helpful.
  • DB PENSION EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with defined benefit pension plans is a plus.
  • Knowledge of DB Pension processes, terminology, or participant services can help you succeed in this role.

A typical day:

Your day will primarily consist of assisting participants by phone. You will handle inbound calls, with some outbound calls and callbacks as needed.

You will answer questions, explain plan provisions and applicable forms, complete transactions, document participant interactions, and follow established procedures for each client you support.

Because this role supports multiple clients, you will need to be comfortable learning and applying different client-specific requirements.

Training:

Training is provided virtually and is approximately 7–8 weeks.

During training, you will learn the systems, processes, client requirements, and procedures needed to successfully support participants in this role.

Training is an important part of preparing you to independently assist participants and accurately process their requests.
