Here at Zola we are seeking a motivated People Operations Intern for Summer 2026. In this role, you will support our People Operations and contribute to building a meaningful experience for our team. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who is curious about the modern workplace and can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the employee journey by coordinating onboarding and offboarding, maintaining documentation, and system access.
- Assist in driving employee engagement through the planning and execution of our annual employee engagement survey.
- Maintain accurate employee records and assist with data entry and audits within our People systems.
- Maintain Google Sheets-based reports and dashboards to track team trends.
- Assist with the review and maintenance of internal HR materials, company Knowledge Base and policies
- Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI or automation to improve internal workflows
- Support the People Team, performing supportive ad hoc projects and tasks as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS
- Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree (rising Junior or Senior)
- Must be able to problem solve, make decisions, think critically, and analytically
- Have an intellectual curiosity and eagerness to grow professionally
- Able to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet changing priorities
PROGRAM DETAILS
- The compensation for this role is $20.00/hour.
- This full-time role will be hybrid at our office in NYC (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
- This role is not eligible for relocation.
- The program will run for 10 weeks from June 9, 2026 - August 13, 2026.
