Vendelux is building the category-defining platform for event marketing intelligence.

Events are one of the largest and most impactful marketing channels, yet historically one of the least measurable. Vendelux brings transparency and performance to this space — helping companies discover, evaluate, and optimize their event strategy with data.

Our platform powers thousands of event decisions by delivering proprietary, AI-driven insights across hundreds of thousands of events globally. At the core of our platform is a robust ecosystem of event organizer partnerships — where organizers share first-party data, enabling richer insights for customers while receiving benchmarking and audience intelligence in return. From identifying the highest ROI conferences to enabling targeted meeting programs, Vendelux helps companies turn events into a predictable and scalable growth engine.

In addition, Vendelux Meetings extends our platform by turning insights into pipeline — using AI to identify high-value attendees and proactively book 1:1 meetings between our customers and their ideal prospects at events. This enables go-to-market teams to drive measurable ROI and maximize every event interaction.

Founded in 2021, Vendelux is a Series B SaaS company backed by top-tier investors including FirstMark. We partner with many of the fastest-growing companies in the world, and our team includes leaders from Bain, ZoomInfo, Shutterstock, FanDuel, Compass, Airbnb, Forter and beyond.

________________

As our HR Lead, you’ll own the full people operations function — from onboarding through career development, performance, compliance, and culture. Recruiting lives separately; your mandate is everything that happens after someone joins, and everything that makes Vendelux the kind of company people want to stay at.

You’ll work directly with leadership on org design, compensation strategy, and workforce planning, while also being the day-to-day resource employees trust for guidance, support, and clarity. You need to be equally comfortable in both rooms.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN

Employee experience

Design and run programs across onboarding, engagement, performance, and development that keep people growing and connected to the mission.

HR compliance & policy

Maintain legally compliant, fair, and clearly communicated policies across employment law, benefits, leave, and workplace standards.

Employee relations

Be the trusted resource for managers and employees navigating performance issues, conflict, and sensitive workplace situations.

People strategy

Partner with leadership on org structure, headcount planning, compensation benchmarking, and the cultural foundations that scale with the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and deliver a best-in-class onboarding experience that gets new hires productive, connected, and engaged from day one

  • Build and manage performance review cycles, feedback frameworks, and career development programs

  • Serve as the primary resource for employee relations — coaching managers, mediating conflict, and handling sensitive matters with discretion and fairness

  • Administer and continuously improve compensation, benefits, and equity programs; lead benchmarking as the company scales

  • Develop and maintain HR policies, the employee handbook, and compliance documentation across all jurisdictions we operate in

  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, org design, and headcount decisions tied to business goals

  • Track and report on people metrics — attrition, engagement, eNPS, and time-in-role — and surface actionable insights to leadership

  • Own the HRIS and people tech stack; evaluate and implement new tooling as we grow

  • Manage offboarding processes, conduct exit interviews, and translate findings into retention improvements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years in an HR Generalist or HRBP role — no recruiting scope required or expected

  • Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or tech startup; early or solo HR hire experience strongly preferred

  • Deep knowledge of employment law and HR compliance across multiple states (NY required)

  • Proven ability to build HR programs and policies from scratch — not just inherit and maintain them

  • Excellent judgment in sensitive employee relations situations — trusted, discreet, and consistent

  • Data-fluent: comfortable tracking people metrics and presenting insights clearly to leadership

  • Exceptional communicator — able to write clear policy, facilitate hard conversations, and influence at the C-suite level

  • High-ownership mindset: you do what needs doing, whether it’s strategic or administrative

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR a plus

Not all candidates will check all of the requirements listed above and that’s ok! We are open to great people from non-traditional backgrounds.

Vendelux is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to equal opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, parental or pregnancy status, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, or veteran status.
