Location: NYC (in office 3 days per week)

Trove is building the future of collectibles, bringing culture, community, and commerce together in one mobile experience. We're a small team building fast, and we're looking for a Performance Marketing Lead to own paid acquisition end to end.

This is a chance to build Trove's entire paid acquisition function from scratch and own it end to end: the channels, the creative, the testing machine, and the outcomes. It's a hands-on role for someone who has scaled paid acquisition for an early stage consumer product. This isn't a brand marketing role, and it isn't one where you brief an agency and manage from a distance. You'll live inside the ad accounts and turn spend into collectors at scale, with one mission: build the acquisition engine that brings Trove its next 100,000+ collectors.

You'll work directly with the founders, design, and engineering to stand up our paid strategy from zero. You'll need to make spend decisions with incomplete information, build the systems that let your testing engine run without constant manual lift, and stay honest about the numbers. The team that learns fastest wins, and you'll set that pace.

On any given week, you might:

  • Lead, run, and iterate all paid growth across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels

  • Build a high-velocity testing engine, running experiments and killing or scaling based on the data

  • Partner with Design to develop creative that resonates with collectors

  • Own the CAC, ROAS, and LTV math, and defend every number behind a spend decision

  • Own the funnel tracking and attribution behind every spend decision, partnering with engineering to automate it

  • Scale and manage paid budget efficiently, from early tests to meaningful spend

  • Build campaigns that capitalize on collectibles culture and the moments driving it

  • Use AI automation to handle the busywork so your time goes to the work only a human can do

  • Make big bets, move quickly, and have fun doing it

You have experience and success in these areas:

  • 7+ years of hands-on performance user acquisition for a B2C product

  • Owning the CAC, ROAS, and LTV math and defending every number

  • Deep expertise in Meta or Google, with fluency across several channels

  • Working technically and analytically, comfortable in SQL and diving into the data on your own

  • Building from zero, with no existing growth machine or agency to fall back on

  • A genuine interest in collectibles, gaming, sports, or adjacent culture is a strong plus

What success looks like:

  • New buyer volume scales while CAC and payback stay inside target

  • A creative testing engine is running with variations shipping and getting killed or scaled on the data

  • Clean attribution and UA dashboards exist that the whole team trusts

  • Paid has become a predictable, compounding acquisition engine
