We are looking for a reliable, organized Personal Assistant in New York City to help a couple based in the West Village with day-to-day logistics, errands, scheduling, and personal coordination. The couple works from home most days, and this role is needed a few days per week rather than full time.

There are no children in the household; this is a practical support role for someone who is detail-oriented, responsive, discreet, and comfortable handling a mix of in-person errands and light administrative coordination.

You should be comfortable working around a private household, coordinating with both people clearly, and keeping small tasks from becoming distractions. The right person has good judgment, protects privacy, follows through without needing constant reminders, and can keep a running list of open items moving.

Responsibilities
  • Help a couple with personal scheduling, reminders, appointments, reservations, and follow-ups

  • Run errands and coordinate local logistics around the West Village and greater New York City a few days per week

  • Help with purchases, returns, deliveries, household supplies, and simple personal admin

  • Coordinate with building staff, vendors, service providers, cleaners, repair people, and external contacts

  • Track open tasks, confirm details, and make sure loose ends are closed

  • Prepare simple notes, lists, summaries, and updates when needed

  • Handle personal information, home access, and scheduling details with discretion and care

Requirements
  • Based in or near New York City and able to handle regular in-person tasks in the West Village

  • Available a few days per week for errands, household coordination, and light admin support

  • Comfortable supporting a couple who works from home most days

  • Highly organized, responsive, punctual, and consistent with follow-through

  • Good written communication and clear, concise updates

  • Strong judgment, discretion, and respect for privacy

  • Comfortable using common tools like email, calendar, messaging apps, spreadsheets, and task lists

Helpful but not required
  • Experience as a personal assistant, household assistant, family assistant, executive assistant, operations assistant, or similar support role

  • Familiarity with West Village or downtown Manhattan errands, vendors, transportation, and service providers

  • Comfort helping with light household operations, travel coordination, or event logistics
